GPS: Gallery Possibility Space
A mobile, modular exhibition platform that brings the white cube everywhere. This gallery is democratic in nature, inviting everyone to be a curator. It brings the prestige of the white walled gallery to any neighborhood, without taking away real estate or autonomy from that space. GPS packs away in a duffel bag and can be transported anywhere. Artworks are hung using a rail hanging system, fabric pins, and magnets. It can support up to 50 lbs in certain spots, and can be reconfigured to fit any space. Exhibitions take around an hour to set up and hang if planned properly.

GPS was conceptualized while I was an artist in residence at Art Farm Nebraska, and lived as a wooden prototype. It eventually received funding from the City of Boston through the Opportunity Fund. GPS is now made out of quick connectors and lightweight but sturdy aluminum.
